The Hofherr family name acts as the guarantee for the production of traditional Bavarian and other sausages, because for the last 4 generations the butchery business has been under the control of a master butcher from our family. So if on your next visit you have for instance eaten an excellent pair of Schweinswürstl (pork sausages), or Wiener, Pfälzer, Weißwürst sausage, an outstanding cold meats platter or sausage salad and enjoyed it, which we assume will be the case, you will know the reason for its excellence. And don’t forget to take some sausages from the butchery business back for your next barbecue. The range of products has been refined and extended, for example with Käsedampfwurst (scalded cheese sausage), Krakauer (cured pork sausage), Schmankerltopf (pot of meat treats), Gutshofleberwurst (farm liver sausage) and much more. We have also extended our offer of hot Brotzeit snacks, such as for example schnitzel, Bratwurst (fried sausage) etc.
